Once again Romainia made a fool of itself and its people.Not only that the officials weren’t capable of organizing properly the events that concerned the great summit ,but also they have suppressed any kind of manifestation of democracy by aggression .
It’s not ok for young people to be beaten because they believe in a cause and try to sustain their opinions by pacifist means.It’s not ok for the press representants to be treated as crooks .I ask myself once again,yes I admit as a proud Romanian that I asked this question several times but I wasn’t capable of answering,is Romania a democratic country?It sure doesn’t look like it.
Although I don’t think we should have organized this summit from the beginning because of the huge amount of money that was spent to create the idea of normality at least,I couldn’t say prosperity because it’s too much ,I made peace with this fact.What I didn’t expect were the fights and the scandals ,the mediatization of every fault ,the exaggeration with which every meaningless event was treated.
Oh yes we have bags of garbage in an oil station..oh my god …..how can this be?…..no one in Romania throws garbage on the streets…….no shit Jose……..for approximately a n hour the traffic was jammed because they called the bomb squad to check out what was in those plastic bags: between cans and rotten tomatoes they probably found a fucking tampon.I think they opened it to see if the commercial was right about their quality.
If I start to tell how many stupid things happened in these three days I would write three pages .Instead I choose to end it here.
So thank the Romanian authorities for beating kids up,for showing us the true spirit of democracy,for making us stay in our cars more than we should have and for seeing so much of the asses of the police staff.Thank you.I think next summit you should let the police butt naked and greased with oil.Would be a nice touch for desperate housewives.
A final thank you for making our country look more stupid than it already looked .And oh thank you for letting the dogs run around the Mariott lawn (don’t worry Bush loooooves dogs)
